PLEASE READ THESE TERMS OF SERVICE CAREFULLY. BY ACCESSING OR USING THE RESTASSURED PLATFORM, YOU AGREE TO BE BOUND BY THESE TERMS, INCLUDING SCHEDULE A (ACCEPTABLE USE POLICY) AND SCHEDULE B (REFUND AND CANCELLATION POLICY), WHICH FORM PART OF THIS AGREEMENT. IF YOU DO NOT AGREE, DO NOT USE THE SERVICE. SECTION 17 CONTAINS AN ARBITRATION AGREEMENT AND CLASS ACTION WAIVER THAT AFFECTS YOUR LEGAL RIGHTS. SECTION 5 CONTAINS IMPORTANT AUTOMATIC RENEWAL AND BILLING TERMS. SECTIONS 9, 14, AND 15 CONTAIN DISCLAIMERS AND LIMITATIONS OF LIABILITY.

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) constitute a legally binding agreement between you (“User,” “you,” or “your”) and RestAssured LLC, a Minnesota limited liability company (“RestAssured,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), governing your access to and use of the RestAssured platform, including all related websites, mobile applications, software, content, features, and services (collectively, the “Service”). RestAssured’s principal place of business is 985 Lake Street, #1024, Wayzata, MN 55391.

These Terms consolidate and supersede RestAssured’s previously separate Subscription Terms, Refund Policy, Acceptable Use Policy, and professional-advice Disclaimer. Those documents are now incorporated into these Terms — in the body of this agreement and in Schedules A and B, which are attached below and form part of these Terms.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account, clicking “I Agree,” accessing, or using any part of the Service, you represent that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms, our Privacy Policy (incorporated herein by reference), and any additional guidelines or policies posted on the Service. If you are using the Service on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization to these Terms.

(a) Documents That Form This Agreement

These Terms consist of: (i) the numbered sections below; (ii) Schedule A — Acceptable Use Policy; (iii) Schedule B — Refund and Cancellation Policy; and (iv) the RestAssured Privacy Policy, available at www.restassured.life/legal/privacy, each of which is incorporated by reference. Schedules A and B are part of these Terms and are enforceable as though set out in full in the body of this agreement.

(b) Order of Precedence

If there is a conflict between the numbered sections and a Schedule, the numbered sections govern, except that Schedule B governs on matters of refund eligibility and Schedule A governs on matters of permitted and prohibited use. If you have signed a Master Services Agreement with RestAssured, that agreement governs over these Terms to the extent of any conflict.

(c) Separate Purchase Acceptance

If you purchase a paid plan, you separately agree to the subscription, billing, and renewal terms in Section 5 and to Schedule B at the point of purchase. If you do not agree to those terms, do not complete your purchase.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years of age to use the Service. By using the Service, you represent and warrant that you are 18 years of age or older, have the legal capacity to enter into a binding agreement, and are not barred from receiving services under applicable law. If RestAssured discovers that a User is under 18, we will immediately terminate that User’s account and delete associated data.

3. Description of the Service

RestAssured is a Life Readiness platform that helps individuals and families assess, organize, and maintain critical personal, financial, legal, and medical information so that trusted individuals can act quickly in the event of an emergency, incapacity, or death. The Service is built around two complementary assessments and a set of organizational tools, which vary by subscription tier:

  • Findability check: A free, 8-question assessment that produces your Findability Score, measuring how easily the people you trust could locate and act on critical information in an emergency. The entry point to the Service, requiring no payment, commitment, or account.
  • Life Readiness Assessment: A comprehensive assessment covering the main areas of a person’s affairs, including family, finances, home and property, healthcare, legal documents, digital life, and end-of-life wishes. It can be completed over time and produces your Readiness Score, a scored snapshot of your overall preparedness. Its Findability section is free with Check; the full assessment is available with Plan and Protect.
  • Readiness Report: A personalized report, written with the help of AI from your Life Readiness Assessment answers, identifying preparation gaps and areas for improvement. With Plan, one report is written when you finalize your assessment and is kept as written; with Protect, new reports are written as your answers change. You can print your report, save it as a PDF, and email a summary of it to people you choose.
  • Trust Network: A private list of the people you would want involved if something happened to you, and how to reach them. Adding someone to your Trust Network does not notify them, share your information with them, or give them access to your account. Included with Plan and Protect.
  • Action Plan: A prioritized, step-by-step set of personalized task recommendations to improve your Readiness Score over time. The first three moves are included with Plan; the whole Action Plan is included with Protect.
  • EasyVault: Cloud-based encrypted storage for personal documents, including wills, powers of attorney, advance healthcare directives, insurance documents, and other personal records. Up to two documents with Check and Plan (plus your Readiness Report with Plan); up to twenty with Protect. Each plan also limits total storage and the number of stored file versions.
  • Remy: RestAssured’s AI interface, available on every plan for questions about your readiness. Ongoing check-ins with Remy are planned for Protect. See Section 9 for important disclaimers regarding AI features.

RestAssured reserves the right to modify, add, or discontinue any feature of the Service at any time, subject to the notice provisions in Section 20 and, for material reductions to a paid plan, Section 5(n).

4. Account Registration and Security

(a) Registration

To access features beyond the free Findability check, you must register for an account by providing accurate, current, and complete information. You agree to update your account information promptly if it changes.

(b) Account Security

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. You agree to notify RestAssured immediately at legal@restassured.life if you suspect unauthorized access. RestAssured will not be liable for any loss resulting from unauthorized use of your account.

(c) One Account Per User

Each account is for a single individual. You may not create or manage accounts on behalf of other individuals without their direct knowledge and participation.

(d) Account Accuracy

You represent that all information provided during registration and use of the Service is truthful and accurate. Providing false information may result in immediate account termination.

5. Subscription Plans, Billing, and Payment

RestAssured offers three plans — Check, Plan, and Protect — plus a contract-based Enterprise offering. Pricing is subject to change upon notice as described in Section 20 and Section 5(l). The plan you purchase, the amount charged, and the renewal cadence are also disclosed to you at checkout and in your order confirmation email. Paid plans are sold through Stripe as merchant of record, as described in Section 5(r). Prices are in U.S. dollars and exclusive of tax (Section 5(o)).

Enterprise / B2BCustomMulti-user or organizational access. Governed by a separate Master Services Agreement. Contact us at support@restassured.life.

AUTOMATIC RENEWAL SUMMARY — PROTECT PLAN. The Protect plan costs $199 per year, plus applicable tax. It renews automatically every year on the anniversary of your purchase, and your payment method on file is charged the then-current annual rate each time, until you cancel. You may cancel at any time from your Profile (“Your plan” › “Manage billing”), or by emailing support@restassured.life. To avoid the next charge, cancel at least 48 hours before your renewal date. You will receive a renewal reminder by email at least 25 days before each renewal. Full refund and cancellation terms are in Schedule B.

(a) Check — Free

Check is free. No credit card or payment information is required. You can take the Findability check without an account; a free account saves your Findability Score and gives you your Life Profile, EasyVault for up to two documents, and Remy for questions. With Check, the rest of the Life Readiness Assessment can be viewed but not answered. Check does not expire, though RestAssured may modify or discontinue Check features on 30 days’ notice. You may upgrade to Plan or Protect at any time; paid features activate as soon as your payment is confirmed.

(b) Plan — One-Time Purchase

Plan is a one-time purchase of $99, plus applicable tax. There is no recurring charge associated with Plan, and it is not subject to automatic renewal. Plan opens the full Life Readiness Assessment. When you have answered it, you finalize your assessment and your Readiness Report is written from your answers; that report is then kept as written, and your answers are kept as they stood when it was written. You retain access to Plan features — your Readiness Report, the first three moves of your Action Plan, your report saved in EasyVault, and the Trust Network — for as long as your account remains active and in good standing and RestAssured continues to offer those features. Updating your answers and new reports come with Protect.

Plan members may upgrade to Protect at any time. If you upgrade within 30 days of your Plan purchase, the $99 you paid for Plan is credited toward your first year of Protect, and the reduced first-year price is shown at checkout; after 30 days, Protect is charged at its standard rate. The price of a completed Plan purchase is locked at the amount paid and is not affected by later price changes.

(c) Protect — Annual Subscription and Automatic Renewal

Protect is billed at $199 per year, plus applicable tax. Your first billing period begins on the date your purchase is confirmed, and each subsequent billing period begins on the same calendar date each year (the “Renewal Date”). Protect is a subscription that automatically renews annually at the then-current rate unless you cancel at least 48 hours before the renewal date. BY PURCHASING PROTECT, YOU AUTHORIZE RESTASSURED, AND STRIPE AS MERCHANT OF RECORD UNDER SECTION 5(r), TO CHARGE YOUR PAYMENT METHOD ON FILE FOR EACH RENEWAL PERIOD AT THE THEN-CURRENT PROTECT RATE, PLUS APPLICABLE TAX, WITHOUT FURTHER ACTION BY YOU, UNTIL YOU CANCEL.

(d) Renewal Reminder

RestAssured, or Stripe on RestAssured’s behalf, will send a renewal reminder email to the address associated with your account at least 25 days before each Renewal Date, stating the amount to be charged, the Renewal Date, and how to cancel. The reminder will also reflect any upcoming price change. It is your responsibility to keep your email address current in your account settings.

(e) Cancellation, and What Stays Yours When Protect Ends

You may cancel your Protect subscription at any time from your Profile (“Your plan” › “Manage billing”), or by emailing support@restassured.life. To avoid being charged for the next annual period, you must cancel at least 48 hours before your Renewal Date. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current paid period; you keep Protect until that date.

When Protect ends, because you cancel, a renewal payment is not completed, a renewal payment is refunded, or included access under Section 5(s) ends, your account stays at the Plan level, as it stood: everything you made stays yours to read, print, and download, including your most recent Readiness Report, your Action Plan, and the documents in EasyVault. Updating your answers, new reports, your earlier reports, and adding or replacing documents in EasyVault come back with Protect. You can always open and download the documents in EasyVault; while more documents are stored than your plan includes, adding and replacing documents is paused. RestAssured does not delete your EasyVault documents because Protect ends. If the payment for your first year of Protect is refunded, Schedule B4 sets out what your account keeps.

(f) Payment Methods and Processing

Payments are made on a checkout page hosted by Stripe, in U.S. dollars, using the payment methods offered there, which may include major credit and debit cards and Link. As described in Section 5(r), Stripe processes your payment as merchant of record. By providing payment information, you authorize RestAssured and Stripe to charge the applicable fees, plus applicable tax, to your payment method. RestAssured never receives or stores your full payment card information.

(g) Billing Authorization

For Protect, by completing your initial purchase you authorize RestAssured and Stripe to charge your payment method automatically on each Renewal Date for the applicable annual fee, plus applicable tax, until you cancel. This authorization remains in effect until you cancel your subscription or remove your payment method from your account.

(h) Payment Failure and Grace Period

If a renewal payment fails — for example, because a card has expired, funds are insufficient, or the issuing bank declines the charge — you will: (i) be notified by email within 24 hours of the failed payment; (ii) keep Protect while the charge is retried, up to eight times over a grace period of up to two weeks; and (iii) if payment is not received within that grace period, have your subscription end, with your account staying at the Plan level as described in Section 5(e). Nothing you made is deleted. You may restore Protect at any time by purchasing it again from your Plans page or your Profile.

(i) Updating Payment Information

You may update your payment method at any time from your Profile (“Your plan” › “Manage billing”). Updated payment information will be used for all future charges, including your next renewal.

(j) Billing Disputes and Chargebacks

If you believe you have been charged in error, contact support@restassured.life within 60 days of the charge. We will investigate and, if an error is confirmed, issue a correction or refund promptly. Disputes submitted more than 60 days after the charge may not be eligible for a refund. Please contact us before initiating a chargeback with your bank or card issuer: most billing concerns are resolved within one to two business days. Initiating a chargeback without first contacting RestAssured support is a violation of these Terms and may result in account suspension. If a chargeback is filed and later found to be unwarranted, RestAssured may recover the chargeback fee and related costs from you. Nothing in this subsection limits any right you have under applicable law to dispute a charge with your card issuer. Because Stripe sells paid plans as merchant of record (Section 5(r)), Stripe also handles payment disputes and may resolve a dispute directly.

(k) Refunds and Cancellation

Refund eligibility is governed by Schedule B (Refund and Cancellation Policy), which forms part of these Terms. In summary: The Plan one-time purchase is non-refundable once you have begun the full Life Readiness Assessment beyond the free Findability check or your Readiness Report has been written; otherwise, you may request a full refund within 48 hours of purchase. Protect payments may be refunded within 14 days of initial purchase or renewal, upon written request to support@restassured.life. The refund is in full, with one exception: if your account did not already have Plan when you bought your first year of Protect, and a Readiness Report has been written for your account by the time you ask, the refund is the amount paid less the price of Plan and the tax on that price, and your account keeps Plan. After 14 days, no refunds will be issued for the current subscription period. If RestAssured permanently removes a core Protect feature, you may request a pro-rata refund as described in Schedule B. As merchant of record, Stripe may also issue a refund directly in some cases (Section 5(r)). Schedule B controls in the event of any inconsistency with this summary.

(l) Price Changes

RestAssured may change subscription pricing with at least 30 days’ written notice to the email address associated with your account. For existing Protect subscribers, a price change takes effect at your next Renewal Date and will be reflected in the renewal reminder described in Section 5(d). If you do not agree to a price change, you must cancel before your next Renewal Date. Continued use of the Service after the effective date constitutes your acceptance of the new pricing. Price changes do not retroactively affect completed one-time purchases.

(m) Free Trials and Promotional Pricing

RestAssured may offer free trial periods, promotional pricing, referral discounts, or partner rates from time to time. Where a free trial is offered: (i) no charge is made during the trial period; (ii) at the end of the trial your payment method will be charged the applicable subscription fee unless you cancel before the trial ends; and (iii) trial duration and eligible plans will be specified at the point of offer. Only one free trial per user per plan is permitted. Promotional pricing is valid only for the period stated at the time of offer; after that period your subscription renews at the then-current standard rate unless you cancel. Promotional pricing is non-transferable and may not be combined with other offers unless expressly stated.

(n) Feature Availability and Changes

RestAssured may modify, add, or remove features within any plan. For a material reduction to Protect — meaning the permanent removal of a core feature listed in the plan table above, specifically updating your answers with new Readiness Reports, the whole Action Plan, or EasyVault storage — RestAssured will provide at least 30 days’ advance written notice by email, and you may cancel and request a pro-rata refund for the unused portion of your current billing period as described in Schedule B. RestAssured targets high availability but does not guarantee uninterrupted access; planned maintenance will be communicated in advance where practicable. Temporary service interruptions, routine feature updates, and changes in the frequency, format, or capabilities of Remy as the AI is improved do not constitute material feature reductions and do not entitle you to a refund or credit, except where caused by RestAssured’s gross negligence or willful misconduct.

(o) Taxes

Prices listed are exclusive of applicable taxes. Applicable sales, use, and value-added taxes are calculated and added at checkout, and collected and remitted by Stripe as merchant of record (Section 5(r)). You are responsible for any taxes that are not collected at checkout.

(p) Enterprise and B2B Plans

Organizations, financial advisors, estate planning attorneys, healthcare providers, and other professional or institutional users interested in multi-seat access or white-label arrangements should contact RestAssured at support@restassured.life. Enterprise plans are governed by a separate Master Services Agreement negotiated between RestAssured and the organization. In the event of a conflict between that agreement and these Terms, that agreement governs.

(q) App Store Purchases

If you purchase a subscription through a third-party app store or platform, that platform’s billing, cancellation, and refund policies govern your purchase, and you must manage or cancel your subscription through that platform. RestAssured cannot process refunds for purchases made through a third-party platform.

(r) Merchant of Record — Stripe and Link

Paid plans purchased on www.restassured.life are sold through Stripe’s Managed Payments service. For these purchases, Stripe, through its Link service, acts as the merchant of record: it is the seller of record for the transaction, processes your payment, calculates, collects, and remits applicable taxes, handles fraud screening and payment disputes, and provides transaction support. Your card statement may show the charge under Link (for example, “LINK.COM*”), and receipts may come from Stripe or Link. Stripe’s and Link’s own terms and privacy policies apply to the payment transaction; RestAssured remains responsible for providing the Service. In some cases Stripe may issue a refund directly — for example, to resolve a dispute or where consumer protection law requires it — and a refund issued by Stripe has the same effect on your plan as one issued by RestAssured (Schedule B).

(s) Alpha-Beta Access and Access Codes

Accounts created before September 30, 2026 (00:00 UTC) are part of RestAssured’s alpha-beta community and have Protect included at no charge — with no subscription and no automatic renewal — for as long as RestAssured offers it. RestAssured may end alpha-beta access on at least 30 days’ notice by email; when it ends, your account stays at the Plan level as described in Section 5(e), and nothing you made is deleted. This does not limit RestAssured’s rights under Section 19. RestAssured may also offer access codes that add alpha-beta or other access to an account. Access codes have no cash value, may not be sold or transferred, may be limited in number or time, and may be withdrawn for new redemptions at any time; access already granted by a code continues under this Section.

6. User Content

(a) Ownership

You retain all ownership rights in the content, documents, and information you upload, submit, or store through the Service (“User Content”). These Terms do not transfer any intellectual property rights in your User Content to RestAssured.

(b) License to RestAssured

By submitting User Content, you grant RestAssured a limited, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to access, store, process, and display your User Content solely to the extent necessary to provide and improve the Service. This license terminates when you delete the content or close your account, subject to applicable data retention requirements.

(c) Responsibility for Content

You are solely responsible for the accuracy, legality, and completeness of your User Content. RestAssured does not verify the accuracy of any documents or information you upload. Storing a document in the Service does not make it legally valid or effective.

(d) Prohibited Content

You may not upload content that is unlawful, fraudulent, harassing, defamatory, obscene, or that infringes any third-party rights, or that otherwise violates Schedule A (Acceptable Use Policy). RestAssured reserves the right to remove such content and terminate accounts that violate this provision.

(e) Sharing Your Report

If you ask RestAssured to email a summary of your Readiness Report to someone, RestAssured sends it on your behalf to the address you provide. You are responsible for choosing whom to send it to, and you confirm that you are entitled to share the information it contains and to give us that person’s name and email address. Once delivered, the email is outside RestAssured’s control.

7. Sensitive Personal Information

The Service is designed to store and organize highly sensitive personal information, including legal documents, financial records, and healthcare directives. You assume full responsibility for deciding what information to store and with whom you share it. RestAssured strongly recommends reviewing your security settings regularly.

(a) Security Measures

RestAssured implements industry-standard technical and organizational security measures to protect User Content, including encryption at rest and in transit, optional multi-factor authentication, and access controls. No system is completely secure, and RestAssured cannot guarantee absolute security.

(b) No Liability for Unauthorized Access

To the fullest extent permitted by law, RestAssured is not liable for unauthorized access to, disclosure of, or use of your User Content resulting from your failure to maintain account security, third-party breaches outside RestAssured’s reasonable control, or the actions of people with whom you share your information.

(c) Data Backup

You are encouraged to maintain independent copies of critical documents. RestAssured does not guarantee that lost User Content can be restored and is not liable for loss of User Content due to technical failures, except to the extent caused by RestAssured’s gross negligence or willful misconduct.

8. Trust Network

(a) What the Trust Network Is

Included with Plan and Protect, the Trust Network lets you keep a private list of the people you would want involved if something happened to you (“Trusted Contacts”), with their contact details, relationship, role, and any notes you add. You are responsible for choosing whom to list and for telling them about any role you want them to play.

(b) RestAssured’s Role

Adding someone to your Trust Network does not notify them, share any of your information with them, or give them access to your account or your EasyVault documents, and RestAssured does not contact them. RestAssured does not verify claims of death or incapacity and does not release your information to Trusted Contacts. If you want someone to have your information, you must share it with them yourself.

(c) No Legal Effect

Designating a Trusted Contact in RestAssured is not a substitute for a legally executed will, power of attorney, healthcare proxy, or other legal instrument. Consult a licensed attorney in your jurisdiction to ensure your estate planning documents are legally valid and effective.

(d) Information You Share

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless RestAssured from any claims, damages, or liabilities arising from information you choose to share with your Trusted Contacts or others, or from their use of it.

9. No Legal, Financial, Tax, or Medical Advice; AI Features

RESTASSURED IS AN ORGANIZATIONAL AND EDUCATIONAL PLATFORM ONLY. IT IS NOT A LAW FIRM, FINANCIAL INSTITUTION, INVESTMENT ADVISOR, INSURANCE AGENCY, OR HEALTHCARE PROVIDER. REMY AND ALL OTHER AI-POWERED FEATURES OF THE SERVICE PROVIDE GENERAL EDUCATIONAL AND ORGANIZATIONAL INFORMATION ONLY. NOTHING IN THE SERVICE CONSTITUTES LEGAL, FINANCIAL, TAX, ESTATE PLANNING, INVESTMENT, INSURANCE, MEDICAL, OR ANY OTHER PROFESSIONAL ADVICE. RESTASSURED IS NOT A LAW FIRM AND DOES NOT PROVIDE LEGAL SERVICES. NO ATTORNEY-CLIENT RELATIONSHIP IS CREATED BY YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE. RESTASSURED CANNOT AND DOES NOT REPLACE YOUR QUALIFIED PROFESSIONAL ADVISORS.

This Section 9 applies to every feature of the Service, including the Findability Score, Life Readiness Assessment, Readiness Report, Action Plan, EasyVault, Trust Network, and all interactions with Remy. RestAssured is designed to help you organize your information so that your conversations with licensed professionals are more productive. It is not designed to replace those conversations, and it does not.

(a) Educational Purpose Only

Remy and other AI features help you organize information and understand general estate planning concepts. All AI-generated content is for educational and organizational purposes only. You should not rely on the Service as a substitute for advice from a qualified attorney, financial advisor, or other licensed professional.

(b) No Guarantee of Accuracy

AI-generated content may contain errors, omissions, or outdated information. RestAssured does not warrant the accuracy, completeness, or fitness for the purpose of any AI-generated output. You are solely responsible for verifying information before relying on it.

(c) Professional Consultation Recommended

For complex estates, blended families, business ownership, or multi-jurisdictional assets, RestAssured strongly recommends consulting a licensed estate planning attorney. The Service is an organizational tool, not a replacement for professional legal counsel.

(d) AI Limitations

Remy operates based on information you provide. The quality of AI-generated suggestions depends entirely on the accuracy and completeness of your inputs. RestAssured is not liable for outcomes resulting from decisions made based on AI-generated content.

(e) Not a Legal Advisor

RestAssured is not a law firm, attorney, or legal services provider; is not authorized to practice law in any jurisdiction; cannot create, execute, or validate any legally binding document; is not a substitute for an attorney-client relationship; and cannot provide legal advice specific to your jurisdiction, estate, or circumstances. What RestAssured does provide is an organizational tool that helps you identify and gather the documents your attorney will need, an educational resource that explains general estate planning concepts in plain language, a secure place to store documents your attorney has already prepared and you have already executed, and help understanding what questions to ask your attorney.

Documents stored in RestAssured — including wills, trusts, powers of attorney, and advance healthcare directives — are legally effective only if they have been properly drafted, executed, witnessed, and, where required, notarized in accordance with the laws of your jurisdiction. Organizing or uploading a document in RestAssured does not make it legally valid. Only a licensed attorney can advise you on whether your documents meet the requirements of your state.

(f) Not a Financial, Tax, or Insurance Advisor

RestAssured is not a registered investment advisor, broker-dealer, or financial planner; is not a certified public accountant, tax advisor, or tax preparer; is not an insurance agent, broker, or licensed insurance professional; is not regulated by the SEC, FINRA, or any financial regulatory authority; and cannot recommend specific investments, financial products, or tax strategies or evaluate the adequacy of your insurance coverage or retirement savings. What RestAssured does provide is a platform that helps you identify and document the financial accounts, policies, and assets you own, organize beneficiary information so your advisors can review it, understand general concepts about estate planning and asset organization, and store financial documents your advisors have already prepared.

Information you enter into RestAssured about financial accounts, assets, insurance policies, or beneficiary designations is for your organizational purposes only. It does not constitute a financial plan, investment recommendation, tax filing, or insurance assessment. Beneficiary designations on financial accounts and insurance policies are governed by the terms of those accounts and policies. RestAssured has no ability to change, confirm, or verify those designations, and you must work directly with your financial institutions and licensed advisors to ensure they are current and correct.

(g) Not a Medical or Healthcare Advisor

RestAssured is not a healthcare provider, physician, nurse, therapist, or any licensed medical professional; does not provide medical diagnosis, treatment recommendations, or clinical guidance; is not a licensed mental health professional or crisis counselor; is not regulated by any healthcare regulatory authority; and cannot interpret, validate, or advise on the medical appropriateness of healthcare directives. What RestAssured does provide is a platform to store and organize your advance healthcare directives, living will, and HIPAA authorization documents, a tool to identify your healthcare proxy and ensure they know where to find your directives, and general educational information about healthcare planning.

Advance healthcare directives, living wills, and HIPAA authorization forms stored in RestAssured are effective only if properly executed in accordance with your state’s laws. The content of those documents — including your wishes regarding medical treatment, resuscitation, and end-of-life care — should be developed in consultation with your physician and a licensed healthcare attorney. RestAssured does not review, validate, or advise on the content of any healthcare document you store on the platform.

(h) What Remy Is and Is Not

Remy is an AI-powered organizational assistant. Remy is not a lawyer, financial advisor, physician, therapist, or any other licensed professional, and Remy cannot give you advice. When Remy explains what a power of attorney or advance directive is, that is general education, not legal advice specific to your state or situation. When Remy suggests you check your beneficiary designations, that is an organizational prompt, not a financial planning recommendation. When Remy references healthcare documents, that is organizational guidance, not medical or clinical advice. No interaction with Remy — regardless of topic, depth of conversation, or specificity of response — creates a legal, financial, medical, mental health, or other professional advisory relationship between you and RestAssured.

(i) Scores and Assessments Are Organizational Tools Only

The Findability Score, Life Readiness Assessment, and Readiness Report are organizational tools. They measure the completeness and accessibility of your preparedness information. They do not evaluate the legal sufficiency of your documents, the adequacy of your financial plan, or the appropriateness of your healthcare directives. A high Readiness Score means your information is well organized; it does not mean your estate plan is legally sound, your finances are appropriately structured, or your healthcare wishes are clinically optimal. A low Readiness Score means there are organizational gaps to address; it does not mean you are in legal, financial, or medical jeopardy. Your scores are a starting point for conversations with your professional advisors, not a substitute for them.

(j) How RestAssured Works Alongside Your Professional Advisors

The following table describes the boundary between what licensed professionals do and what RestAssured does. RestAssured does not endorse or recommend any specific individual or firm.

(k) A Note on Emotional Well-Being

Planning for the end of life can bring up feelings that are difficult to sit with. If conversations on this platform stir up emotions that feel hard to manage, we encourage you to reach out to a trusted friend, family member, or licensed counselor. RestAssured is an organizational tool. It is not a substitute for human connection or professional mental health support.

(l) Your Acknowledgments

By using the Service, you acknowledge and agree that: (i) RestAssured is an organizational and educational tool and not a professional advisor of any kind; (ii) you will not rely on any content, score, assessment, AI response, or other output from the Service as a substitute for advice from a licensed legal, financial, tax, medical, or other professional; (iii) you will consult qualified professionals before making any legal, financial, tax, medical, or estate planning decision; (iv) you take full responsibility for the decisions you make and the documents you execute, regardless of any information provided by the Service; and (v) the adequacy and legal effectiveness of your estate planning documents depends on the laws of your jurisdiction and the guidance of your licensed advisors, not on RestAssured.

(m) No Liability for Reliance on Platform Content

RestAssured is not liable for any decision you make, or fail to make, based on information, scores, assessments, AI responses, or other content generated by the Service. You are solely responsible for obtaining qualified professional advice before making any legal, financial, medical, or other consequential decision. The limitation of liability in Section 15 applies in full to any claim arising from reliance on platform content as professional advice. Nothing in this Section 9 limits your rights under applicable consumer protection laws.

10. Third-Party Services and Integrations

(a) Third-Party Partners

The Service may integrate with or rely upon third-party service providers, including cloud hosting and storage, AI, email, analytics, and payment providers. These third parties operate under their own terms and privacy policies, which you may be required to accept.

(b) No Endorsement

RestAssured’s integration with or reference to third-party services does not constitute an endorsement of those services. RestAssured is not responsible for the availability, accuracy, or practices of any third-party service.

(c) Third-Party Links

The Service may contain links to third-party websites or resources provided for convenience only. RestAssured has no control over, and assumes no responsibility for, the content or practices of any linked third-party site.

11. Intellectual Property

(a) RestAssured Ownership

The Service, including its software, algorithms, AI models, user interface, design, text, graphics, logos, and all content created by RestAssured (excluding User Content), is owned by RestAssured or its licensors and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws.

(b) Limited License to Users

RestAssured grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to access and use the Service for your personal, non-commercial purposes. This license does not include the right to copy, modify, or distribute the Service; reverse engineer any component; use the Service to build a competing product; or remove any proprietary notices.

(c) Trademarks

“RestAssured,” the RestAssured logo, “Remy,” “Findability Score,” “Life Readiness,” “Trust Network,” “EasyVault,” and other marks displayed in the Service are trademarks or service marks of RestAssured LLC. You may not use any RestAssured mark without prior written permission.

(d) Feedback

If you provide RestAssured with feedback, suggestions, or ideas regarding the Service, you grant RestAssured a perpetual, irrevocable, royalty-free, worldwide license to use and incorporate such feedback without obligation to you.

12. Acceptable Use

Your use of the Service is governed by Schedule A (Acceptable Use Policy), which forms part of these Terms and is set out in full below. Schedule A describes what you may and may not do on the Service, how RestAssured enforces it, and how it may be updated. Violation of Schedule A is a material breach of these Terms and may result in content removal, suspension, or termination of your account under Section 19.

13. Privacy

Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy, available at www.restassured.life/legal/privacy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference. By using the Service, you consent to the collection, use, and disclosure of your information as described in the Privacy Policy. Given the sensitive nature of information stored in the Service, RestAssured encourages you to review the Privacy Policy carefully before uploading any personal documents. The Privacy Policy is a standalone document and is not superseded by these Terms.

14. Disclaimers of Warranties

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, TITLE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. RESTASSURED DOES NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, SECURE, OR FREE OF VIRUSES OR OTHER HARMFUL COMPONENTS. RESTASSURED DOES NOT WARRANT THAT ANY INFORMATION PROVIDED THROUGH THE SERVICE IS ACCURATE, COMPLETE, OR SUITABLE FOR YOUR PARTICULAR SITUATION.

Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion of implied warranties. In such jurisdictions, the above exclusions apply to the maximum extent permitted by applicable law.

15. Limitation of Liability

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, RESTASSURED AND ITS OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, AGENTS, PARTNERS, AND LICENSORS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, PUNITIVE, OR EXEMPLARY DAMAGES, INCLUDING LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, GOODWILL, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES, ARISING OUT OF OR IN CONNECTION WITH YOUR USE OF OR INABILITY TO USE THE SERVICE, EVEN IF RESTASSURED HAS BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.

IN NO EVENT SHALL RESTASSURED’S TOTAL CUMULATIVE LIABILITY TO YOU FOR ANY CLAIMS ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO THESE TERMS OR THE SERVICE EXCEED THE GREATER OF: (A) THE TOTAL FEES YOU PAID TO RESTASSURED IN THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS IMMEDIATELY PRECEDING THE EVENT GIVING RISE TO THE CLAIM, OR (B) ONE HUNDRED DOLLARS ($100.00).

Some jurisdictions do not allow limitation or exclusion of liability for incidental or consequential damages. In such jurisdictions, the above limitations apply to the maximum extent permitted by law. Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability for fraud, fraudulent misrepresentation, gross negligence, or willful misconduct, or any other liability that cannot be excluded or limited under applicable law.

16. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless RestAssured LLC and its members, managers, officers, employees, agents, partners, and licensors from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, judgments, awards, losses, costs, expenses, or fees (including reasonable attorneys’ fees) arising out of or relating to: (a) your violation of these Terms, including Schedule A; (b) your User Content; (c) your use of the Service; (d) information you choose to share with your Trusted Contacts or others; or (e) your violation of any law or the rights of any third party.

17. Dispute Resolution — Arbitration and Class Action Waiver

IMPORTANT: THIS SECTION CONTAINS A BINDING ARBITRATION AGREEMENT AND CLASS ACTION WAIVER. BY AGREEING TO THESE TERMS, YOU WAIVE YOUR RIGHT TO A JURY TRIAL AND YOUR RIGHT TO PARTICIPATE IN A CLASS ACTION. PLEASE READ THIS SECTION CAREFULLY.

(a) Informal Resolution

Before initiating arbitration, you agree to contact RestAssured at legal@restassured.life and provide a written description of the dispute, your name, and proposed resolution. The parties will attempt to resolve the dispute informally for 60 days. If unresolved after 60 days, either party may proceed to arbitration.

(b) Binding Arbitration

Except as set forth in Section 17(e), any dispute, claim, or controversy arising out of or relating to these Terms or your use of the Service shall be resolved by binding individual arbitration administered by the American Arbitration Association (“AAA”) in accordance with its Consumer Arbitration Rules then in effect (www.adr.org). The arbitration shall be conducted in Hennepin County, Minnesota, unless the parties agree otherwise. The arbitrator’s decision shall be final and binding and may be entered as a judgment in any court of competent jurisdiction.

(c) Class Action Waiver

YOU AND RESTASSURED AGREE THAT EACH MAY BRING CLAIMS AGAINST THE OTHER ONLY IN AN INDIVIDUAL CAPACITY AND NOT AS A PLAINTIFF OR CLASS MEMBER IN ANY PURPORTED CLASS, COLLECTIVE, OR REPRESENTATIVE PROCEEDING. The arbitrator may not consolidate more than one person’s claims and may not preside over any form of a class or representative proceeding.

(d) Arbitration Fees

Filing fees will be allocated per the AAA Consumer Arbitration Rules. For claims of $10,000 or less, RestAssured will pay all AAA filing and arbitration fees unless the arbitrator finds your claim to be frivolous.

(e) Exceptions to Arbitration

Either party may seek injunctive or other equitable relief in any court of competent jurisdiction to prevent actual or threatened infringement of intellectual property rights or unauthorized access to the Service. Small claims court actions within the applicable jurisdictional limit are also exempt from this arbitration provision.

(f) Opt-Out

You may opt out of this arbitration agreement by sending written notice to legal@restassured.life within 30 days of first accepting these Terms. Your notice must include your name, mailing address, and a clear statement that you wish to opt out. If you opt out, disputes will be resolved in the courts specified in Section 18. Opting out of arbitration does not affect any other provision of these Terms.

18. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Minnesota, without regard to its conflict of law principles. For any disputes not subject to arbitration under Section 17, you and RestAssured consent to the exclusive jurisdiction of the state and federal courts located in Hennepin County, Minnesota. The United Nations Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods does not apply to these Terms. If you are a consumer resident in a jurisdiction whose law grants you the benefit of mandatory local consumer protections, nothing in this Section deprives you of those protections.

19. Termination

(a) Termination by You

You may close your account at any time from your Profile (“Account & security” › “Delete your account”) or by contacting support@restassured.life. If documents are stored in EasyVault, RestAssured completes the closure with you on request. Upon closing your account, your right to use the Service terminates immediately and any Protect subscription ends. Closing your account does not entitle you to a refund except as provided in Schedule B, so if you are within a refund window, contact support@restassured.life before you close your account.

(b) Termination by RestAssured

RestAssured may suspend or terminate your account and access to the Service at any time, with or without cause, with or without notice. Grounds for termination include violation of these Terms or Schedule A, non-payment of fees, fraudulent activity, or conduct that harms other users or RestAssured. Where RestAssured terminates your account for cause, no refund will be issued. Where RestAssured terminates your account without cause and you hold an active Protect subscription, RestAssured will refund the unused portion of your current annual billing period on a pro-rata basis, as described in Schedule B. Because Plan is a one-time purchase with no billing period, no pro-rata refund arises on a Plan account; RestAssured will instead refund the Plan purchase in full if it terminates a Plan account without cause within twelve months of purchase.

(c) Effect of Termination

Upon termination: (i) all rights and licenses granted to you under these Terms immediately cease; (ii) you must cease all use of the Service; (iii) RestAssured may delete your User Content in accordance with its data retention policies. Sections 6(a), 6(c), 9, 11, 14, 15, 16, 17, 18, and 21 survive termination. Section 5(j) and Schedule B survive termination to the extent necessary to resolve outstanding billing matters.

(d) Data Export

When you close your account yourself, you first receive a machine-readable export of the information in your account. The export does not include the files stored in EasyVault, which you can download from EasyVault before you close your account. Once your account is closed, your data is deleted as described in our Privacy Policy. If RestAssured terminates your account, you may request a machine-readable export of your User Content, including your EasyVault documents, within 30 days of termination; after 30 days, RestAssured has no obligation to retain or provide your data. EasyVault documents are not deleted because a paid plan ends (Section 5(e)).

20. Changes to These Terms and Schedules

Except as provided in Section 20(b), RestAssured reserves the right to modify these Terms at any time. For material changes, RestAssured will provide at least 30 days’ notice by email to the address associated with your account or by posting a prominent notice within the Service. For non-material changes, the updated Terms will be posted with a revised “Last Updated” date. Your continued use of the Service after the effective date of updated Terms constitutes your acceptance of those Terms. If you do not agree to updated Terms, you must stop using the Service and close your account before the effective date.

(a) Changes Requiring Notice and Assent

Changes to the numbered sections of these Terms that materially affect your rights or obligations — including changes to Section 15 (Limitation of Liability), Section 17 (Dispute Resolution), or the fees and renewal terms in Section 5 — take effect only after at least 30 days’ advance notice by email, and your continued use of the Service after the effective date constitutes acceptance.

(b) Changes RestAssured May Make Unilaterally

RestAssured may update Schedule A (Acceptable Use Policy) at any time, effective upon posting, to address new forms of abuse, new product surfaces, or changes in applicable law. Material changes to Schedule A will be announced by email or in-product notice. RestAssured may update Schedule B (Refund and Cancellation Policy) on at least 30 days’ notice, and any such change applies only to purchases and renewals occurring after the effective date. No change to a Schedule will retroactively reduce a refund right that had already accrued to you.

(c) Current Versions

The current version of these Terms, including both Schedules, is always available at www.restassured.life/legal/terms. Prior versions are available on request at legal@restassured.life.

21. General Provisions

(a) Entire Agreement

These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy, Schedule A, Schedule B, and any additional terms incorporated by reference, constitute the entire agreement between you and RestAssured regarding the Service and supersede all prior agreements and understandings, including RestAssured’s previously separate Subscription Terms, Refund Policy, Acceptable Use Policy, and Disclaimer.

(b) Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found invalid or unenforceable, that provision will be enforced to the maximum extent permissible and the remaining provisions will remain in full force.

(c) Waiver

RestAssured’s failure to enforce any right or provision of these Terms shall not constitute a waiver of that right or provision.

(d) Assignment

You may not assign your rights or obligations under these Terms without RestAssured’s prior written consent. RestAssured may assign these Terms without restriction in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of substantially all of its assets.

(e) Force Majeure

RestAssured shall not be liable for any failure or delay resulting from causes beyond its reasonable control, including natural disasters, acts of government, pandemics, cyberattacks on third-party infrastructure, or internet service disruptions.

(f) Notices

Notices to RestAssured should be sent to legal@restassured.life or by mail to RestAssured LLC, 985 Lake Street, #1024, Wayzata, MN 55391. Notices to you will be sent to the email address associated with your account.

(g) No Third-Party Beneficiaries

These Terms do not create any third-party beneficiary rights.

(h) Headings and Interpretation

Section headings are for convenience only and do not affect interpretation. “Including” means “including without limitation.” References to a Section include its subsections and any Schedule incorporated into it.

Schedule A — Acceptable Use Policy

Part of the RestAssured Terms of Service · Effective: August 27, 2026

This Acceptable Use Policy (“AUP”) forms part of the RestAssured Terms of Service and applies to every User of the Service. Capitalized terms have the meanings given in the Terms of Service. Violation of this Schedule A is a material breach of the Terms of Service.

A1. Purpose

RestAssured stores some of the most sensitive information in a person’s life. This policy exists to keep the platform safe for the people who rely on it, to protect the integrity of the Service, and to make clear what conduct will result in removal of content, suspension, or termination of an account.

A2. Permitted Use

You may use the Service to organize, assess, store, and maintain your own personal, financial, legal, medical, and digital information; to keep a record of your Trusted Contacts; and to prepare for conversations with your own licensed professional advisors. Personal, non-commercial use of this kind is what the Service is designed for.

A3. Prohibited Conduct

You agree not to use the Service to:

  • Violate any applicable local, state, national, or international law or regulation;
  • Upload, transmit, or store content that is fraudulent, defamatory, obscene, or infringes any third-party intellectual property or privacy rights;
  • Upload, transmit, or store content that is unlawful, harassing, threatening, or abusive, or that promotes violence or self-harm;
  • Impersonate any person or entity or misrepresent your affiliation with any person or entity;
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any portion of the Service, other user accounts, or RestAssured’s computer systems or networks;
  • Introduce viruses, malware, ransomware, or any other harmful code into the Service;
  • Probe, scan, or test the vulnerability of the Service, or breach or circumvent any security, authentication, rate-limiting, access control, or content protection mechanism;
  • Use automated means (bots, scrapers, crawlers, or similar) to access or collect data from the Service without RestAssured’s prior written consent;
  • Use the Service for any commercial purpose not expressly authorized by RestAssured, including reselling, sublicensing, or providing the Service to third parties;
  • Use the Service, or any output of the Service, to develop or train a competing product or service, or to benchmark the Service for a competitor;
  • Store information about or on behalf of another individual without their knowledge and participation, other than the contact details and notes you keep for people in your Trust Network or for the people you send your report to;
  • Store or transmit credentials, account numbers, or other access information belonging to a person who has not authorized you to hold them;
  • Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the Service, including by imposing an unreasonable load on the infrastructure;
  • Attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of the Service, or to extract the underlying models, prompts, or algorithms of Remy;
  • Use Remy or any other AI feature to generate content that is unlawful, that is presented to third parties as professional legal, financial, tax, or medical advice, or that misrepresents the output as having been produced or reviewed by a licensed professional;
  • Create multiple accounts to circumvent a suspension, a free trial limit, or a promotional offer restriction;
  • Remove, obscure, or alter any proprietary notice displayed in or on the Service.

A4. Reporting Violations

If you become aware of conduct that violates this policy, or of content on the Service that should not be there, report it to legal@restassured.life. Where a report concerns unauthorized access to your own account, contact us immediately and also follow the account security steps in Section 4(b) of the Terms of Service.

A5. Enforcement

RestAssured may investigate suspected violations and may remove or disable access to content, restrict features, suspend an account, or terminate an account, with or without notice, depending on the severity of the violation and the risk to other Users. Where circumstances reasonably allow, RestAssured will give notice and an opportunity to cure before terminating an account for a first, non-severe violation. RestAssured may preserve and disclose information where required by law or where it reasonably believes disclosure is necessary to protect the rights, property, or safety of RestAssured, its Users, or the public. Termination for violation of this policy is a termination for cause and does not entitle you to a refund.

A6. Updates to This Schedule

RestAssured may update this Schedule A at any time, effective upon posting, as described in Section 20(b) of the Terms of Service. Material changes will be announced by email or in-product notice. The current version is always available at www.restassured.life/terms.

Schedule B — Refund and Cancellation Policy

Part of the RestAssured Terms of Service · Effective: October 14, 2026

This Refund and Cancellation Policy forms part of the RestAssured Terms of Service and applies to all paid plans purchased on www.restassured.life, which are sold through Stripe as merchant of record (Section 5(r) of the Terms). Capitalized terms have the meanings given in the Terms of Service. If you purchased through a third-party app store, that platform’s refund policy governs instead, as described in Section 5(q). Purchases and renewals made before October 14, 2026 keep the refund terms that applied when they were made.

B1. Refund Eligibility at a Glance

The table below summarizes refund eligibility. The sections that follow set out the full terms and control in the event of any inconsistency with this table.

CheckCheckNot applicableNo charge to refund

B2. Check

Check carries no charge, so no refund applies. No credit card or payment information is required to use it.

B3. Plan — $99 One-Time Purchase

Refund window. You may request a full refund of the amount you paid for Plan within 48 hours of purchase, provided you have not yet begun the full Life Readiness Assessment.

What “begun” means. The full assessment is considered begun the moment, after completing your Plan purchase, you answer any assessment question beyond the free Findability check, or once your Readiness Report has been written. Answers you gave to the Findability check before or after buying Plan, viewing the assessment’s questions, or landing on the assessment page do not count.

After the assessment is begun. Once the full assessment has been begun, the purchase is non-refundable, because the core deliverable — your personalized Life Readiness Assessment and Readiness Report — is being built from your responses.

What a refund means for your plan. When a Plan purchase is refunded, your account returns to Check.

How to request. Email support@restassured.life within 48 hours of purchase with the subject line “Plan Refund Request” and include your account email address. We acknowledge your request within one business day and issue approved refunds within three business days; most refunds appear on your statement within 5 to 10 business days after that.

B4. Protect — $199 per Year

Initial purchase. You may request a refund within 14 days of the date your Protect subscription begins.

Annual renewal. You may request a full refund of a renewal charge within 14 days of each Renewal Date.

Amount refunded. The full amount actually charged for the period in question (for example, $199, or less where the Plan credit described in Section 5(b) of the Terms applied), including any tax collected on it, with one exception. If, when you bought your first year of Protect, your account did not already have Plan (by buying it, or by keeping it after an earlier year of Protect or alpha-beta access ended), and a Readiness Report has been written for your account by the time you ask, the refund is the amount charged less the price of Plan at the time of your purchase (currently $99) and the tax charged on that price. Apart from that exception, partial refunds are not issued within the 14-day window.

What a refund means for your plan.

  • Your first year, refunded in full: Protect ends and your account returns to the level it held before you bought Protect. If that is Check, your answers are kept, so if you buy Plan or Protect later, you pick up where you left off.
  • Your first year, under the exception above: Protect ends and your account keeps Plan. Your most recent Readiness Report stays yours to read, print, and download, as written, and your answers are kept as they stood when it was written. Updating your answers and new reports come back with Protect.
  • A renewal: Protect for that period ends and your account stays at the Plan level, as described in Section 5(e) of the Terms.

Your documents. A refund never deletes anything you made. The documents you uploaded to EasyVault stay yours to open and download. While more documents are stored than your plan includes, adding and replacing documents is paused until you upgrade or are back within your plan’s allowance.

After 14 days. No refund is issued for the current billing period. Protect continues through the end of your paid period, and you may cancel to prevent future renewals.

Window does not reset. The 14-day window applies once per initial purchase and once per annual renewal. It does not reset on upgrade, plan change, or reactivation after a lapse.

How to request. Email support@restassured.life with the subject line “Protect Refund Request,” including your account email and the date of the charge. We confirm receipt within one business day and issue approved refunds within three business days.

B5. Refunds Following a Feature Change by RestAssured

If RestAssured permanently removes a core Protect feature — specifically updating your answers with new Readiness Reports, the whole Action Plan, or EasyVault storage — RestAssured will provide at least 30 days’ advance written notice by email, offer a pro-rata refund for the unused portion of your current billing period if you choose to cancel, and process that refund within 10 business days of your cancellation request. To request one, email support@restassured.life within 30 days of the feature removal notice with the subject line “Feature Change Refund Request.” Temporary service interruptions, routine feature updates, and changes in Remy’s behavior as the AI is improved are not material feature removals and are not eligible for a refund.

B6. Refunds Following Termination by RestAssured Without Cause

If RestAssured terminates or permanently suspends your account without cause, as described in Section 19(b) of the Terms of Service, no request is required and RestAssured will issue the refund automatically to your original payment method within 10 business days of termination. For an active Protect subscription, the refund is the unused portion of your current annual billing period, calculated on a pro-rata daily basis from the date access ends. For a Plan purchase, because there is no billing period to pro-rate, RestAssured will refund the Plan purchase in full where termination without cause occurs within twelve months of the purchase date. This section does not apply to termination for cause, which is addressed in Section B7.

B7. Situations Not Eligible for a Refund

RestAssured does not issue refunds for:

  • Dissatisfaction with your Life Readiness or Findability scores, which reflect your own responses and are not a guarantee of any particular outcome;
  • Failure to cancel before an automatic renewal date, except within the 14-day window described in Section B4;
  • Account termination for cause, including termination for violation of the Terms of Service or Schedule A;
  • Changes to the Service that do not constitute a material feature removal as described in Section B5.

B8. How to Request a Refund

Step 1 — Email us. Send your request to support@restassured.life, using the subject line for your plan type so we can route it quickly.

Step 2 — Include the details. Your account email address, the date of the charge, the plan you purchased, and, optionally, a brief reason for the request.

Step 3 — We confirm. We acknowledge every refund request within one business day.

Step 4 — We review. Eligible refunds are approved and processed within three business days of confirmation, returned to your original payment method.

Step 5 — You receive it. Most refunds appear on your statement within 5 to 10 business days, depending on your bank or card issuer.

B9. Exceptions and Special Circumstances

If your situation falls outside the standard refund windows — for example, a serious illness, a billing error on our part, or a duplicate charge — contact support@restassured.life. RestAssured reviews exceptional circumstances case by case and will try to reach a fair resolution. Nothing in this Schedule limits any refund, cancellation, or cooling-off right you have under applicable consumer protection law, and where such a right applies it operates in addition to the rights described here. As merchant of record, Stripe may also issue a refund directly in some cases, including to resolve a dispute or to honor such a right; a refund issued by Stripe has the same effect on your plan as one issued by RestAssured.

B10. Chargebacks

Please contact support@restassured.life before initiating a chargeback with your bank or card issuer. Most billing concerns are resolved within one to two business days. Unwarranted chargebacks may result in account suspension, and RestAssured may recover associated chargeback fees. This does not limit your legal right to dispute a charge with your card issuer.

B11. Enterprise and B2B Plans

Refund terms for Enterprise and B2B plans are governed by the applicable Master Services Agreement between RestAssured and the organization. In the event of a conflict between this Schedule B and that agreement, that agreement governs. Enterprise billing questions should be directed to support@restassured.life.

B12. Contact

Email: support@restassured.life. Subject lines: “Plan Refund Request,” “Protect Refund Request,” or “Feature Change Refund Request.” Mail: RestAssured LLC, 985 Lake Street, #1024, Wayzata, MN 55391. We acknowledge all refund requests within one business day.
